As Staten Island OutLOUD explores Nathaniel Philbrick’s “In the Heart of the Sea” for The Big Read/NEA, we pause to commemorate the 7th anniversary of the day Hurricane Sandy made landfall on the Island.
The force and the fury of the sea was devastating to so many in our community. Please join us, and share your story as we remember how our community united to rebuild.
Free and open to the public.
We’ll gather in Huguenot House, the charming wood frame house that’s next door to the stone church. Free parking in the church lot.
