Join Staten Island OutLOUD & our stalwart friends Kristi Pfister & James Hill for a fascinating conversation as we explore two fascinating books: “In the Heart of the Sea” (by Nathaniel Philbrick) together with “The Last Pirate of New York” by Rich Cohen. The latter is an amazing (and true) story of murder and mystery on the sea, on Staten Island, and around 19th century Gotham. And our venue is perfect for both books: It’s a 19th century waterside bar, frequented by tugboat workers and a variety of neighborhood characters. (OutLOUD stalwarts are definitely characters!)
